Have you been helping people in their bad times? Have you helped some needy people during this Covid-19 pandemic situation? no one specifically, but it always depends on us as to how we cope up with hard times. Some can cry, shout out loud and still face the difficulties, some can give up completely and quit, or some may stand up with all the might and take it up as a challenge.
It is seen in general that no one will help us in our hard times..parents, friends, well wishers will be there to console.. but the fight is ours..sometimes its good to have a shoulder to cry upon..a hand to hold to but more than that no one can help us is what we believe in this mean world outside today.
Do you strongly believe it is yourself who can help you in your hard times because I believe people would come and start performing in front of you some will advise you, some will taunt you while some will humiliate you. But what will always try to help you to cum out of your trials and tribulations is your positivism, your self belief and boldness. I assure you if you were to act boldly and with determination nobody would be able to stop you, therefore just trust yourself and push yourself to the brim and keep doing your best all the time to help people.
It is always rightly said that god helps those who help themselves, and praying to god in our tough times also boosts our own confidence, therefore if we are determined to give our best to cope up with hard situations and I believe that, help comes to us in one form or the other from god whether you believe or trust him or not.
I remember that when I was in hard times I always remember and look up to my god. As simple as we always familiarise to remembering god every time and every where and secondly we can't forget to go back to your parents. and your close family members where you come from that's where you have to go back. life is just so simple. third, your best soulmate, your buddy, your partner in crime. because your life will not be coloured without friends and these true friends will always show their true colours when we ask them for help.
At that time of troubles in the family, I really found myself to be very lonely, depressed and completely lost. My mother has been always there for help but you can’t go to her for everything that happens to us specially when we are grown up adults. Then I calmed myself and asked God for support as I believe in him and slowly with my confidence I faced the problem without fear! Therefore the biggest thing which helped me was my confidence which helped me overcome the difficulties those times.
When in times of troubles in general like in Covid -19 we all have faced a long lock down period of about 6 months where everything was at a stand still and people have lost jobs and maids were not allowed to work in buildings hence they were suffering badly because they could not earn money, some construction workers who worked on daily wages had to go back to their native place because the work at the site was stopped by the contractor. There have been umpteen number of instances where the migrant workers took 3-4 days to reach their native place but they also found that there was no work available to them at the village and hence they preferred to return to the city again for want of work.
There have been number of NGOs who came forward and religious places like temples, mosques, churches and Gurudwaras offered free meals to people who were displaced and many people also donated food and money to the needy people on the street and whoever was kind enough always distributed food to the people who suffered badly in this pandemic.
We all have come forward to help people to find some work and some food for their families if they are not able to feed the families. Our community centre ran a free meal packets for the policemen on duty as well as those health workers who did not have time to cook meals for themselves due to continuous duty hours were given free meals both during the day and night times. God has been kind to us and we have passed on the kindness to all those we could meet and offer free meals and food for their children so that no one sleeps hungry.
