Some meditation coach campaigning 10x deepen your “Meditation Experience”. I mean, really? What are the parameters of evaluating the depth of ones meditations experiences? How does one form the standards of meditation? Is meditation same for all?
“Meditation” is personal experience and “Spirituality” is the journey that only one can walk, fall, getup and continue. The journey that may or may not have any clear destination known to no one else but the person on the path. An experience that even a person himself/herself cannot express is words and only smile when asked about. To just get the glimpse of such a wonderful feeling, it takes a blessing and grace of Guru. A knowledge cultivated in mind and taken care for long time. Dropping the tendencies of mind through practice that are hurdle to meditation.

I truly recommend meditation to people around me. Mental health today is need of an hour especially in pressurizing corporate world. Each one of us need to take care of emotional well-being. Meditation can help bringing in positive outcomes when practiced regularly over a longer period of time with consistency. It’s not one day phenomenon that can be mastered in 2-3 odd day workshops.
Had that been so easy, almost each and every one would become sage and the world would be a different place altogether in a moment. I’ve no negatives for the person promoting meditation but the way of promoting is something that needs authentic optimization. However it is really great to inspire people to be on the path of meditation and spirituality. One must not fall prey to such marketing gimmicks. Also it raises the question on the credits of the person claiming such experiences.
People are so obsessed with the word “Instant” that they feel they can become spiritual and attend liberation “Instantly”.
I would like end my thoughts with a quote by Swami Vivekananda. He said “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.”
