Everyone I ask, has always had a busy week. It is the norm to be incredibly busy, and we rush from one thing to the next.
The challenge is that if we are not careful, this can result in never switching off. We go to bed thinking about the things we forgot to do today. We wake up in the night with a feeling of panic. We can start to feel overwhelm and whilst we may put on a brave face, we become mentally exhausted. I know this because whilst I was historically good at putting on a front, this was an all too familiar feeling in my life.
In a recent study it was suggested that about 85% of the things people worry about, never happen....So much wasted mental energy.

Having reached my lowest point 3 years ago, I discovered that we do not need to live like this. We do not need to put extreme pressure on ourselves to run a successful business. We do not need to work every hour under the sun to achieve the results we are capable off. Most of the pressure that we experience is self inflicted and when you remove this, things completely change. When you learn to live truly in the present, you will appreciate what you have more than ever. But you probably know this already right!! The challenge is how do you put this change in practise.

Rather than asking you again if you have been busy this week, I am going to ask whether you have been productive? Do you feel that you have made real progress in your business? If not, what action can you take today, that you have been putting off? Make it the first thing you do today, and whilst this may feel a little uncomfortable to start with, once completed you will feel that a weight has been lifted.
