HAVE YOU FOUND YOURSELF?
In Luke 4:17-21, the Bible says that Jesus found Himself in the book of Isaiah when He declared that the Spirit of the Lord was upon Him. As Christians, we need to do the same thing when we read God’s Word. We need to purposely and with great expectation look for ourselves in the Bible. Your name may not be in there, but you are definitely in there through your identification with Christ Jesus! II Corinthians 5:21 says that you are God’s righteousness in Christ.
When you read that verse you just found yourself! You might want to stop and say, “That’s me God is talking about! I just found myself! I am the righteousness of God in Christ!”
Colossians 2:10 says that you are complete in Christ. You just found yourself again! Complete means to be full and entire, lacking nothing. When you see that verse you should say, “I found myself again! I am complete in every area of my life in Christ! My entire life is now full and entire, lacking nothing in Jesus’ Name!”
Young people and people of all ages today are constantly trying to find themselves, but they are usually looking in all the wrong places. The only place where you and I will find the truth of who we are and why we are on this earth is in Christ! I hope you will listen to all of our new messages on youtube entitled “Have You Found Yourself”.
