Have you found your Tribe?

Have you found your Tribe?

I've come to the conclusion that I'm simply not a team player. I'm a team leader.?

I'm not a member of memberships, I'm a leader of the membership.?

I’m not an attendee of an event, I’m the host of the event.

I’m not a guest on a podcast, I’m the host of a podcast.?

I’m not a candidate for a company, I’m the boss of every company/department or project I've ever had since I was 14!?

Yes really…14!?

Even when it came to my part time 'pocket money' jobs, I was the one in charge! I was left to run a carvery restaurant on a Sunday, and I hosted home co-ordinates party plan parties in people's homes aged 15!

You don’t have to simply fit in

I spent so much of my life trying to fit in and belong with groups of people, but at the age of 50, I've finally accepted that I don't fit in with them, and more importantly, that I don't want to simply fit in!?

I am a born leader.?

A born manager.?

A born supporter.?

And so are many of my clients!?

Many of them arrive in my community because they feel like they don't fit into other places.?

So my message to you is this:?

There is definitely a Tribe out there for you. For me, it's a Tribe of leaders who respect and collaborate!?

If you're looking to find your tribe or community, where you feel a sense of belonging and connection, here are a few steps you can take:

Identify your interests

Think about the areas in which you have a genuine passion or curiosity. This could be hobbies, professional interests, personal development topics, or social causes. Identifying your interests will help you find like-minded individuals who share similar passions.

Join relevant communities

Look for communities, both online and offline, that revolve around your interests. Join social media groups, forums, or online platforms where people discuss topics you care about. Attend meetups, workshops, conferences, or events related to your interests in your local area.

Engage and participate

Once you find communities aligned with your interests, actively engage and participate in discussions. Share your thoughts, ask questions, and contribute your knowledge and experiences. This will help you connect with others and build relationships within the community.

Seek out mentors and role models

Look for individuals within your chosen field or interest who inspire you or have achieved what you aspire to accomplish. Reach out to them, seek guidance, and build a connection. Mentors and role models can provide valuable support and guidance as you navigate your own journey.

Be open-minded and inclusive

While it's important to find a tribe that aligns with your interests and values, it's also beneficial to be open to different perspectives and diverse communities. Embrace the opportunity to learn from people with varied backgrounds and experiences, as it can enrich your own understanding and broaden your horizons.

Contribute and add value

Building a strong tribe involves not only receiving support but also giving back and adding value to the community. Offer your skills, knowledge, or assistance to others within your tribe. By contributing, you'll establish yourself as a valuable member and deepen your connections.

Evaluate and refine

As you explore different communities and engage with various groups, take the time to evaluate your experience. Reflect on the level of connection, shared values, and personal growth you experience within each tribe. If needed, refine your search and focus on the communities that resonate with you the most.

Remember that finding your tribe is a journey that may take time. Be patient, authentic, and consistent in your efforts. By actively seeking out communities aligned with your interests and values, you'll increase your chances of finding a tribe where you feel a sense of belonging and support.
