Gensler's latest workplace report reveals that 98% of employees in high-performing teams regularly eat lunch with colleagues. And 81% of workers in strong teams often sit with their team when they’re in the office – citing this as their primary reason for coming in – compared to only 50% of those in weaker teams.

? Putting a price on free time?

A new survey by Reed Recruitment and Bloomberg has found that the very highest (£100,000 or more) and very lowest (under £10,000) earners are the least likely to quit if regularly contacted outside of their contracted hours. The most likely to hand in their notice are those earning £80,000 to £89,000 (50%) and £90,000 to £99,000 (54%).

A paper published in Nature reveals that hybrid working leads to happier, equally productive workers. The trial found that allowing workers to work two days from home reduced resignation rates by a third, and working remotely had no overall impact on productivity.
