Have you ever read minds?

I think that a person can become attuned to reading someone’s energy and auric fields. I believe we have had this ability since prehistoric times, where our methods of communication may not have been as evolved. I think our intuition is important because of this reason, while many people choose to have full control over their lives and not think twice about intuition. I think intuition is an important survival mechanism.

Due to the biased perspectives we have on interpreting situations, I think it would be difficult to truly read minds. I think a belief of reading minds has to occur, and sometimes our beliefs are false if we piece information together incorrectly. The reason that psychics claim not to win at lottery is because they cannot detect the randomized pattern of numbers, because it is not a re- occurring pattern in the universe to detect.

People are natural problem solvers and will create false ways of interpreting something based off their own memories and logic. There was a study that showed people trying to figure out a ‘correct’ sequence of events. Every person made up their own way of solving the problem, and were really confident about it, although no correct solution existed.

Though I sound like a skeptic, I do think people are capable of extra ordinary perception. Again, I think it roots back to our past, when groups of people from far distances needed to communicate with one another. Our brain works through neuronal connections that are electrical in nature. I think our signals can be sent elsewhere depending on the connection. It happens when we just know something, then again, that can be a delusion if it is an untrue and unshakable belief. Just like any connection, signals can be mixed up.

Absolutely. People who are close to each other can do it. Some people who are a little more intuitive than most may not even need to be bonded to another to have a concept of what their thoughts are. And even believe in psychic prediction of events such as card draws and dice rolls. But can anyone read your mind to the point of what color you are thinking of? No. Never. Your mind is constantly thinking, changing, learning. The mind of another could never keep up.

However, someone deeply attuned to the facial and body language of others can get a pretty good idea what they're thinking and if they're lying/telling the truth. In a sense, they are reading the person's mind without actually doing so. Poker players do this all the time, it's called reading your opponent. There are some people who are very perceptive and sensitive to the subtle clues found in human behavior, speech and involuntary physical movements. This heightened awareness makes them able to predict what people are thinking, how they will behave or what they will say that can make them appear to be able to read minds.

I have a problem with confidence. When I walk into a room where there are people I haven't met before, my thought are like this. Why are they looking at me like that? Why are they smiling? Is it because there is something wrong with me? Having the ability to read minds would instantly make this fear of other people null and void. I could just read their mind and find out. On the other side, I am deep down human. Cheers!
