That your heart doesn't know where to stay

There are a million things bottled inside

But your mouth can't find a word to say

That you are blessed with a beautiful home

But your soul roams the universe, like a stray

Ever wished you had a safe haven to hide

That talking to people is like talking to a wall

Felt pin drop silence when it's deafening loud.

Have you ever felt homeless in such a way

That your heart only feels full when you pray

That the only companion you have is God

Your soul wants to be freed from your bod

Have you ever felt the need to be held tight

Ever felt you're not left with a drop of fight

Have you ever felt so intensely disconnected

Like a zombie that needs to be resurrected.

Have you felt the suffering of the universe

Like it's your very own pain, and not hers.

Tell me do the global monstrosities trip you

Felt every dot of your being fried and sizzled

Human deterioration felt like acid being drizzled

That Earth has not felt like a planet to stay.

Have you ever felt you're from some Utopia

And wish that a spaceship would come get ya.

Have you ever wished, a safe heaven you'd find

A place you could undress your heart and mind

A place where every drop of you'd be embraced

Every flaw, be accepted and lovingly placed.
