Have you ever had a week where your primary goal was just to get through it?

Last week I had a very hectic schedule. Between teaching commitments at the local real estate school, training of JPAR agents and my team members, client appointments, answering real estate brokerage support questions and family commitments, it was a blur of what seemed to be non-stop activity.

I am blessed with high energy , but short nights and long days caused me to be exhausted by weeks end.

I have always strived to be in the moment and give my best to that moment and to the people I am serving in that moment. I think I did a good job of that all week. My fellow REALTORS ?, students, colleagues and family all got a pretty good version of Tony Delgado. Then as I was physically, emotionally and spiritually spent, the person I love the most, did NOT get my best. I was curt and short with the love of my life, Rose. I regret this and unfortunately many times we tend to hurt the ones we are closest to. My wife’s grace never ceases to amaze me. I got to bed early and next morning I woke up early and went out on a two mile walk. I then went to get the car washed and drove through 151 coffee and bought my wife’s favorite drink, an iced Chai Latte. I arrived as she was waking up and offered my peace offering.

Be sure your spouse gets your best.

Shalom.?
