“In uprooting, you are not allowing yourself to blossom; you are only comfortable with the process of sprouting.” ~ Brianna Wiest
This root is in my yard. It's beautiful and strong and surrounded by warm rocks. Tucked in snug.
There were times in my life when I felt the same way - solid, confident, and protected. But not so much anymore.
?? My children are grown.
?? My parents have passed.
?? My "why" is transforming.
It's time to slowly unearth the foundation of my life as I know it (as I knew it) and begin to imagine what's possible.
This summer, we are removing this root and its stump; we're displacing the rocks; pulling the weeds, and planting trees. The process of ridding?our lives of the "old" and creating something new?can be arduous. We might want to put it off until the time is "right."
No need to wait. You can begin this process now with one shift - be okay with uprooting parts of your life. "Same-old, same-old" isn't as comfortable as it used to be. How about joining me on this adventure?
TAKE ACTION: It's time to let go of something in your life. What will it be? Once you determine what that is (person, place, or thing), speak gratitude for it, then release it for good. Deep breath.?
Make it a strong day! ??????
