Have you ever been told.....

Have you ever been told that cash value life insurance is a bad investment by your broker or adviser? Of course you have!!   Most stockbrokers( which I am) have no idea how life insurance from a mutual company(The New York Life) works. They don't know about our product other than there's a death benefit.

So please consider this:
* This product grows every day with no market risk and New York Life has paid an additional cash dividend for 162 consecutive years.

* This product grows tax deferred and can be accessed tax free for any use.

* This product is creditor protected and the company will pay your premiums if you become disabled.

* This product if properly constructed can throw off a 6%+ rate of return for your retirement.

Now, there are a lot of smart people out there but if your adviser is telling you this is a bad investment what has he told you that you should do instead? The stock market...check your returns over the past 15 years! Money market....that's less than 1%. Bonds? Very precarious right now.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't own the above...you should, however I'd ask your adviser why "our" product doesn't fit somewhere in your portfolio!!

Just thinking out loud....
