Have you ever been jobless in your entire career?

If yes, you will be able to relate to this post.

I talked to almost 20 people who are jobless currently and I asked them –“How do you start your day?”

The replies shocked me

1.?????? I read newspaper, but nothing goes in my mind. My mind is somewhere else

2.?????? I go for a walk. But I am not able to see around. My mind is somewhere else

3.?????? I check my emails if I have any reply to my applications. I don’t get any. Then my mind goes somewhere else

4.?????? I log on to my laptop and start applying.

I don’t blame them. Neither would I say, they are wrong.

But I would surely handhold them and this is what I do.

I created a WhatsApp group of these people and asked them to say Good Morning after sipping in a glass of water.

1.?????? Practice Yoga

2.?????? Listen to the music

3.?????? Take a nice Bathe

4.?????? Pray to God

5.?????? Have healthy breakfast

6.?????? Sit with a paper and pen and write down the answer for “Tell me something about yourself”

7.?????? Pen down top 5 organizations where you can get hired (Pref direct competition of your last Organization.

8.??????Log on the LinkedIn profile (I am assuming your LinkedIn profile is 100% optimized and your resume is clear description of your achievements already) and post what you wrote about yourself. Remember you need to choose words carefully.

9.?????? Send 50 connection requests to people of your domain in the target organizations.

10.?? Find the relevant JD

11.?? Tailor make your resume as per that JD

12.?? Apply

13.?? Find the relevant stakeholders of that JD on LinkedIn

14.?? Send them the link of your post and ask for referral.

15.?? Repeat this everyday

16.?? Say to yourself that I will be jobless for 3 months and I am ok with it

And this will surely give you results.
