HAVE YOU EVER ACTED ON A HUNCH?!
Friends, this is NOT a political post, so please don’t take it that way. Nor am I taking any position on political candidates, either pro or con. So please don’t assume that.
Instead, this post merely describes an economic decision I made, based on a hunch I had back in 2021. I woke up one day with a strong feeling that Joe Biden would not make it to the end of his term. Rather than claiming this to be “prophetic” in any way, I just saw it as an educated guess based on Biden’s age and declining health.
My hunch was that Kamala Harris would be thrust into the presidency at some point. This would obviously be a big deal, because she would be the first female U.S. president.
So here’s where the economic decision came in…
I figured that if Kamala became the first female president, web domains about her would be worth money someday. This was not an endorsement of her political views or competency but simply a desire to get ahead of the curve on what would be likely to happen.
So I went to my GoDaddy account and purchased lots of URLs “congratulating” Kamala on her accomplishment.
Well, we’ll see what happens in the coming weeks and months. From my perspective, it seems very possible that Joe Biden will step away from the presidency before his term ends, either voluntarily or involuntarily.
Unfortunately, I don’t really know how to sell my? URLs on GoDaddy, so my economic investment may be down the drain. But if you see one of these domains and want to create a website in the weeks and months ahead, I encourage you to contact GoDaddy.com and see what you can work out.
Friends, no matter what you think of Kamala Harris, you have to admit it would be a big deal if she becomes the first female president. You may want to get ahead of the curve and create a website to market her achievement.
In the meantime, let’s all be praying for our country. The next four months are likely to be quite a roller coaster ride.
