Knowledge panels are information boxes that appear on Google when you search for entities (people, places, organizations, things) that are in the Knowledge Graph. They are meant to help people get a quick snapshot of information on a topic based on Google’s understanding of available content on the web.

If you’re a verified representative of an entity on Google, you can manage the entity and suggest edits to the knowledge panel.?Once you’re verified, you’ll find a box to suggest edits at the top of the organization’s knowledge panel.
Here is how I "claimed" Lawrence Sprung, CFP??Knowledge Panel
1?? - Googled his name
(if you are have Google Knowledge to claim you will see this on the right hand side)
2?? - Logged in using his personal Gmail
3?? - Submitted links to his online presence
4?? - Follow the directions and take a selfie in the fashion described while holding your government ID (Larry used his driver's license)
When submitting for Larry's verification I used:
? His Facebook page link and screenshot
? His Amazon Author page link and screenshot
? His LinkedIn Account link and screenshot
? His Twitter Account link and screenshot
? His bio page from?Mitlin Financial, Inc?'s website
? Using these elements got Larry verified First Try!
Which was a much different experience than I had trying to verify Mitlin Financial, Inc?
Despite all the great tips from?Samantha Russell?it took me weeks to get Mitlin Google Verified.
