There are several ways to determine what stage of your menstrual cycle you are in:

  1. Tracking your period: Keeping track of the start and end date of your period can help you determine when you are in the different stages of your cycle.
  2. Basal body temperature: Taking your temperature first thing in the morning before you get out of bed can help you determine when you are ovulating. During ovulation, your temperature will rise slightly.
  3. Ovulation predictor kits: These kits measure the levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) in your urine. LH levels surge before ovulation, so a positive test result indicates that ovulation is likely to occur within the next 12-36 hours.
  4. Cervical mucus: The amount and consistency of cervical mucus changes throughout your cycle. During ovulation, it becomes clear and stretchy, making it easier for sperm to reach the egg.
  5. Fertility apps: There are many smartphone apps that can track your menstrual cycle, including your period, basal body temperature, cervical mucus, and ovulation predictor kit results, allowing you to see all the information in one place.

It's important to keep in mind that every woman's menstrual cycle is unique and may not be exactly 28 days. It's also important to track your menstrual cycle for a few months to get an accurate picture of your own menstrual cycle
