Just Playing Around

Sometimes Nature Is So Great!

I was on vacation in Cap Cod and took a "three hour cruise" to whale watch. I never imagined I would see so many whales. Three different kinds, (I only remember the grey humpback whale). All the whales can be identified by the underpart markings of the tail fin. The guide knew them all by name. No feeding or anything but the whales seemed to know we were there. They were people watching! It was so astounding to watch them watch us. They "performed" for us, or perhaps they were trying to communicate. Who knows? It was awesome! When they were done, they left. WOW! (I missed some of the best shots: One breach, the eyes looking at us. I was too awestruck to take the picture.)
