Have we met?

Have we met?

If not let me introduce myself and share a little bit of my personal story

I help professional women find balance so they kick ass at work and life without depleting themselves.

WHY?

Because I used to work my ass off trying to be successful in my corporate career and show up for the people in my life like I was some kind of wonder woman that would never run out of energy.

My answer to everything back then was:

DO. MORE. NOW.

And ignore your needs until you are successful and have saved the world, and THEN you can relax and enjoy your life.

This was a total mission impossible.

I mean what does success even mean?

And when do you have enough of this not-so-specific success and saved enough of the world to be worthy of fun, happiness, or just a freaking break?

Well, I had no F**** clue.

And as you might have guessed: I burned out with stress big time.

Long story short.

This was one of those life-changing wake-up calls that made me realize that:

  • Neglecting my needs and desires often turned me into a time-micromanaging bitchy and depressed version of myself (nobody enjoyed those situations).

  • I was getting in my own way by taking on more work and responsibilities because I felt obliged to do so.

Things really changed when I learned:

  • I was not responsible for other people's behavior and emotions, I was responsible for mine.

  • That I was massively limited by a very critical and unsupportive inner dialogue that made me miserable

  • That I (ME) had the power to change this through my behavior…

And what put the fire in my heart back on was when I took action and experienced

  • How I could significantly improve how I felt even with small adjustments in my thoughts and actions.

  • How my own behavior was an instrument to deal with my life in a different way that created more positive results WHILE I was feeling good - SO POWERFUL.

  • That making myself and my needs a priority had NO NEGATIVE consequences for anybody (total aha moment for me at the time)

This is also where I found purpose as I KNEW

  • I had so much more power than I thought to turn my shit around, and I did.

  • I wanted to provide other people with the same tools and strategies so they too could reclaim their power and make positive changes in their lives.

Fast forward a couple of years and several coaching certifications later:

I now support women in creating more balance and power, so they can crush it and show up for the people in their lives without compromising their well-being.

Now: Tell me about you, what do you do and why?
