?What filings would be needed for oversized loads? From the Federal side, would it only require $1,000,000 filings to be in place on the FMSCA website?
?? The limit of insurance required by the Federal Government (and states) for interstate truckers is not related directly to the size of the load, but rather the commodity hauled. Specifically, federal regulation 49 CFR 387.9 summarizes what limit is required. Oversize and overweight load permitting varies by state. This link from FMCSA is helpful.
