Have A Plan B Ready To Deploy
"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord..." Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
It doesn't matter how many times you mess things up, God always has another plan in His back pocket that he'd deploy when needed. There's a plan to fix the crap you do and a plan to reward the results you get. He had you all figured out from the beginning and knew the end. So, every action has a plan.
If that's how God works, how do you work? Have you had instances where your only plan fell flat and you froze on the spot out of confusion about what to do next? Or was there an obvious obstacle in that project that you didn't preempt until it stopped you in your tracks? What did you do?
While it's advisable to not try to control every outcome, having a series of plans shows that you thought out the execution. Other factors can influence the outcome, but the process is up to you.

What obstacles will you face as you start that new project? What risks lie ahead of you? Can anything catch you by surprise? Having just one line of action won't prepare you for what lies ahead. It doesn't matter whether you're passionate about it or you're the most talented person in the room, some situations can snuff out passion and kill talent.
Again, this is why talent is never enough and following your passion can lead to a dead-end if not done correctly. I firmly believe that refining your talent and having passion for a cause are superpowers you must use, but not without knowledge.
You also can look that project in the face and say, "for I know the plans I have for you". But you must be ready to predict obstacles, get ready for risks, get knowledge, and have the willpower to succeed by the grace of God. Even though there's only so much you can foresee, make an attempt.
