Have an Excess of Excel? We can help
Kudzu Software
Helping businesses accelerate the transformation of legacy forms to modern automation platforms.
Our Excel reader makes it easy to convert your spreadsheets into fillable forms in seconds. First, pick the Excel workbook you want to use. I’m going to be using a simple sheet for readability, but our reader will accept any size workbook.
Once you upload your workbook to Kudzu, you can change the reader settings. Currently, you can select what worksheet you want to read, and a range you want us to generate a form from. Additionally, you can set what row you want the reader to pull field names from.
Once you read your worksheet into Kudzu, it will open our Uniform Designer, and populate it with fields found inside your worksheet. The fields will be named after the headers of your worksheet, and their control type will be determined by the type of data found within the columns. You can also define the layout and name of the form inside of the designer.
The designer makes it easy to add, remove, and reorder the fields of your form, or change the names and field types. Once you’re happy with your form all you need to do is hit “Go”, and it will be generated in seconds. Here’s what it will look like with the default settings.
This won’t just be limited to Excel files either. We’re planning to add Designer support for database schemas, and more. Additionally, you can use the designer to construct a new form from scratch, without any existing file, and convert it to any of our supported platforms.? ?
