Team Support

Imagine your first day at work...

You’ve just completed the “new laptop” dance, and you’re finally asked to start understanding the environment.  If you have an extremely good photographic mind, you’re likely to look through consoles, wikis and spreadsheets, and eventually put together a diagram in your mind.  Alternatively, you might end up trying to draw up a crappy diagram to illustrate things for yourself.  Now imagine this… two days later, you’re asked to show someone what you’ve learnt, and how things hang together… and all of a sudden, the picture in your mind doesn’t work.  You need a way to share your thoughts, designs and illustrate how the environment hangs together.

Hava’s native feature is to provide you with the ability to quickly and accurately illustrate your environment architecture.  But now, knowing that after importing things the first time, you’re going to want to share the next, we’ve developed a collaborative team support capability.  Hava now provides users with the ability to offer teams or individuals, read or even admin control of their accounts.

The Hava team functionality is especially useful when diagnosing problems.  Got a tech off site? Or maybe you want to engage an AWS partner, and have the check over things for you… not a problem.  You now have the ability to invite them via their email address, have them accept the invite, and voila, they can switch to your account, and see all of the environments that you’re running.  They can even update the diagrams as you make changes to ensure you’ve done things the right way.

For the independent consultant, having many customers that they work with, and wanting to get a central view of all of the environment that are running through all of your customer locations, Hava provides the central consolidated view you’ve been waiting for through the team support feature.

Having the ability to share thoughts and ideas with teams is extremely important and powerful.  Having the ability to do it remotely is becoming a fundamental element of devops and chatops in the progressive IT companies today.  Hava provides you with the ability to collaborate in the most native way mankind has always worked, visually.
