This is the result of a three-year process which has defined Fine Watchmaking in terms of 4 segments, 7 areas of expertise, and 28 distinguishing criteria, thus embracing its full substance, nuances and diversity. It was carried out by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie Cultural Council of 46 globally acknowledged and independent experts from around the world, who all agreed to provide their services on a pro bono basis.
