Wow - what a fantastic afternoon at The Bowes Museum yesterday. We were celebrating International Women's Day and raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
There were some very colourful hats, not to mention a Mad Hatter (can you spot him?)
The afternoon got off to a very positive start with a talk from Alison Doherty on Mindfulness and Positivity. We had an insight into how to deal with the demands of our day to day lives and learn how to maintain a good sense of well-being.
The mad hatter talked about his business and his story which added to the message of the day.
We raised ï¿¡200 on the raffle and Clive Owen LLP added ï¿¡110 so that our total over the 4 years we have run this event made, ï¿¡1000 - wow!
Ladylike Fashions, Had2buy and The Mad Hatter Tea Company all had stalls and donated to the raffle and table decorations - fantastic support by great businesses.
A lovely event with lovely people!
