WILL 'WORST MODERATED DEBATE IN HISTORY' PROMPT BOYCOTT OF DISNEY AND ABC NEWS ADVERTISERS?

David Muir, one of the moderators at the Trump-Harris debate, injected his personal political agenda (or that of ABC News) over and over and over again instead of focusing more on the economy, immigration, crime and so many other issues the American people care about as they evaluate which candidate to vote for.
"Like it or not, David Muir arguing with Trump will fuel the narrative that these moderators are biased against him," pollster Frank Luntz wrote on X.
In addition to Muir getting on his high political horse, BOTH he and Linsey Davis seemed ready and VERY willing to 'Fact Check' Trump but ultimately failed to challenge Harris with the same conviction.
The moderators even whiffed on the first question to Harris, asking if Americans were better off now than they were four years ago.
The vice president didn't answer the question, meandering in a different direction. But neither moderator challenged her on that issue or anything else for the rest of Tuesday night in what essentially became a THREE-ON-ONE debate.
"Unfortunately, we had moderators who were clearly biased, who were constantly fact-checking Donald Trump. But none of these kind of whoppers that the vice president was saying and none of her failure to really explain and answer that first question, that very, very critical first question. They simply sat on the sidelines and allowed that to pass."

Axios also reported severe criticism of the ABC duo:
Even Trump's comments about the immigration mess in Springfield, Ohio, were deliberately obscured by Muir, who challenged Trump's statement about claims that Haitians are eating ducks from city parks and other people's pets.
Muir lazily cited a single city official who told him that the story was unlikely and then the broadcaster quickly moved on without giving Trump a chance to discuss the much more serious issues related to an influx of thousands of Haitian immigrants in this western Ohio city.
By contrast, Fox News and others actually sent reporters to Springfield to interview several people. They reported that thousands of Haitians have arrived in Springfield since the COVID-19 pandemic .
Many residents have been pointing to an uptick in crime, mayhem and car crashes due to the massive influx of new residents. In a town of 58,000 people, about 20,000 Haitians have arrived, according to several city officials .?
"I see what's going on in the streets. And I see you guys sitting up there and, comfy chairs and suits … I really challenge you guys to get out here and do something," Anthony Harris, 28, said at a recent city council meeting. "These Haitians are running into trash cans. They're running into buildings. They're flipping cars in the middle of the street, and I don't know how like, y'all can be comfortable with this."?
Healthcare Overcrowding, Erratic Driving Linked to Haitians
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine on Tuesday (09-10-24) said the state would spend $2.5 million over the next few years in Springfield to expand access to primary health care. The strain caused by thousands of Haitians has resulted in longer wait times for all patients, the Dayton Daily News reported..
“What that means is you have 15,000 people or so in Springfield who really have not had healthcare, and if they have had healthcare, it really wasn’t very much throughout their life,” the governor said about the surge of Haitian immigrants.
DeWine also said a "surge" of state troopers would be sent to the city to help “deal with traffic concerns in the community." Rising traffic accidents and erratic driving in Springfield can be linked to the area's growing Haitian population, the governor said.
While the state has increased driver training there, DeWine said the problems have been exacerbated by an Ohio law that says drivers who get their license while over the age of 18 need no formal driver education, the News reported..
This issue came up last year after a Haitian man who had a state ID and Mexican drivers license — but no Ohio drivers license — crashed into a school bus, killing one student and injuring dozens of others, the News reported. The driver was convicted on manslaughter and homicide charges .
“The federal government simply has to be a part of the solution,” said DeWine, who said he’s gotten “zero indication” from the government that they’re working on a plan to help communities like Springfield. “They have to step up. It’s their policies that have created these surges.”
Vance, who is also an Ohio senator, was one of the first major politicians to amplify the reports of migrants eating pets in Springfield, according to the New York Post, and Vance has defended talking about the claims even if the evidence remains anecdotal instead of proven.
“Senator Vance has received a high volume of calls and emails over the past several weeks from concerned citizens in Springfield: his tweet is based on what he is hearing from them. The city has faced an influx of 15,000-20,000 Haitian migrants over the past four years, stressing public resources and leading to housing shortages, all thanks to Kamala Harris’s policy of extending temporary protected status designations,” a Vance spokesperson told the Hill.
“Many residents have contacted Senator Vance to share their concerns over crime and traffic accidents, and to express that they no longer feel safe in their own homes. Unlike the liberal media, JD takes his constituents’ concerns seriously.”
It's really no wonder that many Americans have completely lost faith in the integrity of journalism and Tuesday's presidential debate appears to be yet one more nail in the Fourth Estate's coffin.

To many, the debate was more like a volleyball match; Muir and Davis set up easy shots for Harris to spike.
Bob Iger returned as CEO to Disney/ABC for THIS ??!!
He ought to IMMEDIATELY and PUBLICLY chastise Muir and, possibly, suspend him.
Then again, that's probably too much to expect from Iger, a long-time Democrat who has often been critical of Trump.
The real question: Can anything be done about ABC News?
Bottom line? If you were in the camp that found the ABC moderators heavily biased, do you really want to spend your hard-earned dollar on the Disney Cos., much less support ANY of the advertisers on ABC News?
Below is some contact information at various outlets connected with either parent company Disney or ABC News.
A quick Google search doesn't immediately net a list of top advertisers for ABC news programming, though some limited data is available (see below).
Ultimately, it probably will take someone to take a dedicated look at which companies sponsor ABC News programming. That may or may not include an examination of heavy local advertisers in ABC's local markets, including Tampa and Orlando in central Florida (see below).
