Has LinkedIN Stopped You From Inviting Connections??
John Stenbeck, PMP, CDAI, DASSM, PMI-ACP, CSM, CSP
Has this happened to you yet? I made a new connection with a CEO who is potentially important to my future. Then, when I went to send her a connection the only option I had was to BUY an upgrade to my LinkedIN account or not send her an invitation. I was momentarily embarrassed thinking it was because I have more than 10,500 connections but decided to be bold and ask her to send me an invitation instead explaining my predicament. When she tried to send me an invitation she had the same rude treatment!?!
Please understand. We have each other's contact information. Technically we don't NEED to use LinkedIN but we thought it was a good idea. It makes me wonder if Microsoft has decided to try to force itself on us since they bought LinkedIN.
What have you experienced? Do you find this situation UNACCEPTABLE like me?
Let you voice be heard...please!
John

7 年Got it. Thanks Tony Benjamin- MBA, PHR. I can see how this would hurt your brand.
Hector, I did refresh several time. It did not change the situation, but I'll try it again. Mary Ann, I sympathize with your issue.

7 年I am odd woman out on this question to turn it another way. That being LinkedIn has caused me to receive too many connection requests from people I know are merely trying to connect for numbers game or foreign involvement that doesn't benefit me.
