H&A’s Internship Program Earns Top Scores From UNLV!

Law Firm of Higbee & Associates (H&A) internship program, which has helped train more than 1,000 students just received top marks from The University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). Earning nearly a perfect evaluation score, UNLV has deemed H&A’s internship program an excellent place for students to gain professional development in the legal field.
The law firm’s founder, Mathew Higbee, says the success of H&A’s internship program, which started in 2012, is due in part to it being open to undergraduate students.?“Very few law firms offer internships to undergrads,” said Higbee.
UNLV Community Engagement Coordinator, Duaa Murtaza Khan writes, “The intern was able to develop useful skills, such as attention to detail” on the law firms end of internship evaluation. H&A received perfect scores in categories such as “professional development opportunities”, “work environment”, and “feedback and communication.”
“Higbee & Associates has partnered with UNLV for the last 7 years and we have enjoyed hosting students from this campus. We look forward to many more years of partnership with them” says Brooke Boswell, Higbee & Associate’s Manager of Human Resources and Internships. H&A has brought in students from UNLV and numerous universities around the world, encouraging them to apply their classroom learning into real-life legal problems.
Boswell says Higbee & Associates also offers in-office internships in its offices in San Antonio, Texas and Santa Ana, California. Remote internships are also available.

Offering 3 distinct tracks copyright, consumer advocacy, and restorative justice advocacy within the internship program.
