There has got to be a better way!

There has got to be a better way!

Owning a business and managing people can be exhilarating and exhausting at the same time.??If I’m being honest, I am addicted to the frantic pace of life.??Ok, I said it.??I don’t like that about myself, but it’s true.??It is not healthy.??It leads to burnout.??It is not sustainable.??Have you ever been there???Sometimes, we approach the end of ourselves before we question… “There has got to be a better way. What is my purpose for being here???What am I really after?”??

Over the last year I have experienced a lot of personal growth through reading, self-reflection, and being still.??To be honest, slowing down is not in my DNA.??It’s something I’ve desperately needed to do, but quite frankly I haven’t prioritized due to the “busyness” in my life.??

Today I’d like to share some of the books that have really impacted me over the last year with the hope that if you are burned out, searching, or wanting more out of your life that these book suggestions (In the picture above this article) might provide a good place to start.

If you would ever like to get together over a cup of coffee to discuss any of this, please reach out.??I don’t have all the answers, but I really enjoy meaningful conversations.

If you can't zoom in to see the book titles, they are as follows from the bottom up:

  • The Power of a Humble Life by Richard Simmons
  • From Strength to Strength by Arthur Brooks
  • The True Measure of a Man by Richard Simmons
  • Everybody Always by Bob Goff
