Has the Concept of the Corporation Died?

Has the Concept of the Corporation Died?

For decades, we’ve lumped groups of people with a common business purpose under one roof, into something called a?“Corporation”. But isn’t the concept of a corporation broken in a post covid world?

Find out on our next episode of the M&M show – airing LIVE tomorrow, September 16th at 12 pm eastern. We’ll be joined by the godfather of management and author of ‘In Search?of?Excellence’ – one of the ‘Top Three Business Books of the Century’: Tom Peters as well as psychologist, TED talker extraordinaire and #1 Wall Street Journal best-selling author:?Susan David. If you want to witness a heated discussion LIVE on air – tomorrow is the moment.

Marshall and I hope to see you all there!

Susan David, Ph.D., one of the world's leading management thinkers, operates at the nexus of business and psychology. She is the creator of the concept of Emotional Agility, and uses this lens in her consulting, coaching, keynotes, and in the development of psychometric tools to analyze, assess, and develop these skills.?Her focus is on how Emotional Agility contributes to effective people strategies, particularly in the areas of employee engagement, wellbeing, interpersonal relationships, high-performance leadership, and organizational culture change. Susan is also a co-founder and co-director of the Harvard-affiliated Institute of Coaching. Her unique combination of pragmatic business experience and extensive scientific knowledge allows her to help leaders meet the most pressing business challenges without losing sight of their most important asset: their people.

Tom Peters is coauthor of ‘In Search?of?Excellence’—the book that changed the way the world does business and often tagged as one of the best business books of all time. Eighteen books and thirty-five years later, Tom is still at the forefront of the “management guru industry” which he single-handedly invented. What’s new? A lot. As CNN said, “While most business gurus milk the same mantra for all it’s worth, the one-man brand called Tom Peters is still reinventing himself.” His most recent effort is Excellence Now: Extreme Humanism. Tom’s tireless focus is on putting people first and developing leaders who stay in intimate touch with the front-liners who do the real work.

We hope you enjoyed The Lindstrom Report!

I won’t be able to make it tomorrow evening - but I’d available I would live a link to watch at another time!

I'd be glad to see the end of the concept of a corporation with all the rights of a natural person but legally mandated to have no aims but maximising shareholder gain.
