Has ChatGTP Finally Opened a Digital Mindset in People around AI?
While we all speak about #AI as this solution to our problems and achievement of our ambition, practical examples and the ability to see and play with it in a meaningful manner has been difficult.
With #OpenAI and specifically their chatbot called #ChatGTP, you can have real conversations and get detailed written responses back. Additionally, you can ask qualifying questions to the responses provided to gain more detailed information.
This is an incredible tool that has the potential to speed up the thinking processes, develop content faster, answer questions in real time and potentially speed up areas like customer service and creative efforts.
More importantly it allows the everyday user to start to understand AI beyond the "black box". By allowing interactivity in everyday tasks and searches it has brought down the complexity factor of being able to conceptualize AI in a manner we haven't seen before. For the first time I'm seeing people around me engaging with this tool and bringing ideas and thoughts around how this could be incorporated into their workflows, research and opening their mind to the real world possibilities of AI. Our marketing team is asking questions about blog series and getting rough outlines of suggested content, consultants using it as a manner to explain difficult to understand concepts and technologies.

I once had a partner at a big 3 consultancy say to me - if you want all people to understand what you are trying to communicate - you need to bring it down to a grade 3 level. ChatGTP has a function that allows you to convert difficult responses down to a grade 5 reading comprehension.
While it may not be perfect and difficult to ascertain the credibility or the sourced responses - it serves as a way to think about AI in a consumable way. It opens minds and ideas in people I have not seen before. When you can see, interact, and respond with AI in an everyday setting the mind shifts into a new way of thinking of how to tackle challenges. A digital mindset is shifting here, and I couldn't be more excited.

2 年I’ve been playing around with ChatGPT for a few weeks now. Like everything the early adopters are so far ahead of those who normally glaze over with any talk about AI, tech, etc. However when I show them the chatGPT in the context of their life - student, parent, consultant - that’s when the lights go on. What does this AI mean to me? It’s also a great party trick. Who doesn’t want to see a love poem in one second in the voice of Shakespeare to be transformed to the style of Eminem in 10 seconds?
