Harv’s curious about...

…how we go about getting on with what needs doing to save our arses (when it comes to biodiversity loss and climate change).

Just this month, my wife Kate and I planted two more shelter belts on our wee property - Raumai Iti. That’s another 300 trees for birds and bees made up of 12 different species.

We know what needs doing on this property of ours and we're dedicated to it. We know that more biodiversity is needed in our tree and grass species to create more carbon in our soil.

However, I’m not seeing a similar urgency or focus in many businesses and industries around the country. Instead, I see much grumbling that they have to co-operate with government policy.

And so, I wonder... are the politicians brave enough to tell us what we really need to do to save humanity? I doubt it, for the simple reason they need to get re-elected. So, who is going to help us front up to the real challenges that we are faced with?

After being introduced to Grant Symonds and his Real Transition Leaders concept this month, I believe his organisation can help ours do better.

It’s difficult to get a solid grounding in the reality and truth of what we face and how to deal with it. Grant and his team from Transition-HQ, do just that, aiming to provide you with key insights and principles that are timeless.?

I curious what I am going to learn, and how I am going to apply it.

You can be too!?
