According to a release from Devon, the company has agreed to acquire the leasehold interest and related assets of #RimRock Oil and Gas. This bolt-on transaction will add a contiguous position of 38,000 net acres directly offsetting and overlapping Devon's existing position.
The Minnetonka-based company is aiming to be the go-to resource for operators looking to offload non-op working interests in leasehold. The undisclosed seller will net $170 million in cash with an additional $5 million in contingent payments in 2023.
