Harry Potter Village in Manchester

Harry Potter comes to Manchester city centre with new architectural plan for student village as part of Manchester University's ID Manchester district. The design, drawn up by Michael Bond, proposes a uniquely distinct student community of up to 660 student homes in a style inspired by the Potter films and books.

Intended to create an inspiring environment for the university's student community the village sits with a larger plan for Manchester University's ambitions to regenerate land close to Piccadilly station.

The student village aims to add a place of magical wonder to give students the inspiration to work their own magic in their studies during their time in Manchester and take away with them an experience of a lifetime.

Michael is currently working to bring together development and funding partners to convince the University that his vision is the best for their long term benefit and that of the surrounding community.
