Harry Kane's Musings

OK, so this is not a genuine interview with Harry Kane, it’s just me and my general musings. I wanted to put good content out there but apparently, I can only do so if I mock myself (according to the recent poll) so I thought I would try and combine the two. So, let’s do this.
Firstly, let’s get this out of the way. I am very disappointed in my performance yesterday, I only touched the ball 7 times so I think the rest of the team have a fair amount of the blame to shoulder, credit it where it’s due though, Everton were the better team and deserved the result, we will get better as the season goes on.
I wanted to let you all know some of my thoughts on the Technical job market, not a lot of people know about my passion for this; I am a man of many skills.
Did you know the number of advertised roles in the UK tech sector has jumped by 36% in the last two months, according to new data from Tech Nation, this goes to show that particularly start-ups and technology companies are rebounding strongly from the worst days of the coronavirus panic.
Back in February/ March when coronavirus struck, businesses across Europe were firing and furloughing employees in their masses, hiring was largely frozen (even us in the Premier League were being told to stay at home in our tiny mansions with swimming pools/ gyms/ cinemas) it was really tough on everyone.
Personally, I think one of the bigger changes to come out of this whole Covid situation is everything being less London centric. Many companies, large and small, are to offer much more flexibility to their work force moving forward, some even offer 100% remote working, So why pay the extortionate London property prices when you can move further and further afield. Bristol recently had salary improvements of 12% year on year compared to London 3%. I personally know people moving to the countryside and closer to the seaside to have a better work-life balance. I find it quite interesting to see the UK workforce being more diversified across the UK and this in itself will create different opportunities.
With this in mind, the whole way of job searching is going to evolve, some things will be same but some things will certainly be new. I have recently partnered with those guys at the Jenrick Group who are going to be releasing a series of videos to try and help give some of the furloughed or redundant workforce some helpful tips on how to secure your next role.
Next up is Lokomotiv Plovdiv for me, I am aiming for 10+ touches and maybe even a shot in the next game! Wish me luck and see you next week for my latest musings.
