From Dreams to Reality: The Birth of Visuals by Momo Our story began in Minnesota, where we first explored our passion for storytelling. Chris Baker transitioned from a legal career, seeking a more fulfilling and creative outlet, while MoMo Abdellatif , a lifelong artist, discovered his love for filmmaking. When we moved to South Florida, we saw an opportunity to combine our skills and passions to make a real difference.

Visuals by Momo was born with a mission to empower nonprofits. We wanted to help organizations with limited resources share their stories in ways that connect with audiences on a deeper, emotional level.

The Heart of Our Mission Our work focuses on telling stories that inspire action. Whether it’s a short video highlighting a nonprofit’s mission or a documentary-style piece that delves into the lives they’ve impacted, our goal is always the same: authenticity. We believe that the most powerful stories are the ones that come from the heart, and we work closely with our nonprofit partners to ensure their voices shine through.

A Project Close to Our Hearts: Parkland Hearts One of the most meaningful projects we’ve worked on was Parkland Hearts with HandsOn South Florida . This project was about more than just filming—it was about capturing the resilience of a community in the face of tragedy. From planting gardens to building outdoor classrooms, every moment we filmed was a testament to the love and dedication of those involved.

The feedback we received was overwhelming. People cried while watching the videos, moved by the stories we captured. For us, that’s the ultimate measure of success: creating content that makes people feel something.

Innovating to Support Nonprofits We understand that nonprofits often operate on tight budgets, which is why we’ve developed creative ways to support them. Our Headshots 4 a Cause Nonprofits program allows anyone to get professional headshots while contributing to a great cause, and Scrabble Networking combines community engagement with fundraising in a fun, innovative way.

These initiatives not only help nonprofits raise funds but also increase their visibility and connections within the community.

Our Commitment to Nonprofits Since our move to South Florida, we’ve worked with over 33 nonprofits, helping them tell their stories and connect with their audiences. We believe that every nonprofit has a story worth telling, and we’re committed to making that possible, no matter the budget.
