Harnessing the Power of Social Media: A Writer’s Guide to Trends and Insights
Of all the negatives of social media, some positives are beneficial for many reasons. One reason social media benefits me as a writer is that anyone can see where social media users are focusing their attention, whether directly or indirectly. Any form of content or news that is trending, I can see, analyze, and create content around the topic of popularity for the moment.
In addition, we tend to voice our opinions more online than in person, so you can see where most of the world’s attention is and how they feel. This applies to anyone in a field where information, trends, opinions, and data matter to their approach to monetizing their content, intellect, and perspective to solve any dilemma or problem.
Social media has become the first point of information and content; however, it is the most straightforward approach to communicating any information and is the first component of mass media. It is exciting how media becomes mainstream through social media, where it will amplify the narrative or attention to a person, place, or thing. Moreover, it has become easier for us to see where the minds of our society are.
