This week I attended Catholic Health Australia’s National Conference, an event that offered insights into the evolving landscape of health care and aged care across Australia.
This year has been marked by significant reimagination and change for hospitals and aged care providers nationwide. The federal government’s recent announcement of aged care funding reforms is a pivotal step toward future-proofing the care system. These reforms aim to address the needs of our aging population, ensuring that high-quality care is accessible to older Australians, whether they reside in bustling cities or remote rural areas. This proactive move by the government is crucial in tackling the pressing issues facing our aged care system.
As someone in their mid (okay, late) thirties, and charging through life the reality of aging hasn’t fully hit me yet. Her journey underscored a powerful message: every challenge carries the potential for new opportunities. Gill’s story highlighted the importance of staying engaged and connected, no matter the obstacles.
The aged care sector is currently grappling with several significant challenges:

Developing a strategic vision supported by a digital roadmap can significantly ease this transition. By breaking down changes into manageable, bite-sized steps, organisations can more effectively implement improvements that enhance care and optimise operations in a cost-effective manner.
At Innovior, we specialise in helping businesses navigate these challenges and unlock value through strategic, incremental changes. Our recent projects have focused on:
