The Hardest Question to Ask

The Hardest Question to Ask

What is the hardest question to ask? What comes to mind for you? There are plenty that set you up for potentially awkward social moments, for sure.

How much do you earn?

Will you marry me?

What’s this rash?

Is that it?

But I’m not really talking about those.

I’m talking about the questions you use in your day-to-day working life, the questions you ask to become a more effective manager and leader.

And there’s one question that’s the hardest of them all.

To discover the question, as well as why it’s so powerful and how you can put it into action, visit the ThoughtLEADERS blog to see my guest post.

Bang on. I only learnt this from reading your book but I love it. You're right in that the hardest part is to remember to keep asking it .

I have been lucky enough to attend a series of wonderful training sessions (although - that conjures images of traditional / boring training classes - and time spent with MB-S is anything but!) - so "and what else?" has been part of my toolkit for awhile. However - it's always great to have a reminder AND I love the AWE acronym as it fits perfectly. (Incidentally - one of the other really hard questions from Michael's work, that I also love....What are you going to stop doing?)
