The hardest part about social: Creating Content??

The hardest part about social: Creating Content??

Creating social media-focused content is debatably the hardest to develop!

Why?

These platforms are consistently changing. Your targeted audience is constantly consuming different forms of content.

Here are three of my favorite things to consider when developing social content.

1. Knowing EVERYTHING about your targeted audience. I know this sounds weird and a bit intrusive, but it's true. You must know everything about them! When they are on social. What they find funny. What platforms do they hang out on the most? Where do they shop? What makes them tick? The only way you will know that is by following them every step of the way.

2. Bring the energy your COMMUNITY is giving. 90% of the time, your community is going to be hyped and ready to gain value from your content. So, you must bring the HYPE and VALUE they are looking for. The days of just posting a product photo and moving are over! It's boring. You need to provide the hype and value your community is seeking!

3. Stay consistent. We aren't talking weekly, bi-weekly, or even monthly. We are talking about staying consistent yearly! You must post to keep your friends and consumers excited about your product; otherwise, they will move on. Think about it this way: if your favorite restaurant stopped making your favorite dish, would you still go there? I would venture to say not! It's the same context here. Your consumers want to consume your content because they enjoy your product and brand, so provide that to them on a consistent basis!

Creating content can be tricky. It can be exhausting. But it can also be super exciting if you remind yourself why you are doing it! To grow your brand and business footprint.

Take these things into consideration the next time you're creating content, and don't forget to have fun with everything you do! #socialmediamanager
