The Hardest Morning I’ve Had in a While…

Helping High-Achievers Crush Distractions & Get More Done—Without Burnout
Earlier this week, I faced a serious challenge.
I slept only 5 hours and 37 minutes—nothing worked to get me to sleep. I pulled out every trick in my bag:
? Screens off by 8:15 PM
? Magnesium citrate
? Delta wave binaural beats
? Journaling, praying, reading (even took a HOT shower)
?? Nothing worked. I tossed and turned all night.
But when 5:38 AM hit, I got up and did what I always do.
?? Shaved, brushed, 7 push-ups, a 3-minute ice-cold shower, 4-minute squats, 7 minutes of farmer’s carries, and a 23-minute reading walk.
??? Then I went running… in 26°F (wind chill 19°F).
?? Then I grounded barefoot… in 25°F (wind chill 18°F).
Was it fun? No.
Did I want to quit? Yes.
Did I push through? Absolutely.
?? Why am I sharing this?
Because we all hit days where we just don’t feel like it. Where everything says "Just skip today."
?? Here’s the lesson:
You don’t rise to your goals—you fall to your habits.
When you build unshakable habits, they carry you through—even on the days you don’t have the energy or motivation.
?? So I ask you:
What’s one habit you’ve built that helps you stay consistent, even when life makes it tough?
?? Leave a comment and let me know. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Stay productive,
Mark

1 周Sleep is such an important element of how we use our time. The rest we get lets us be productive later.
