Years WASTED, trying to do it all myself.

I feel sick thinking about the time I spent and what I could have done with it.

If only I knew what I know now.

The amount of energy I exhausted hitting my head against brick walls only to discover later that I could have stepped around the wall with a little guidance.

Back then I thought I had to come up with the answers ALONE.?

I thought I had to be the one to solve the problems.

That was until I realised that the solutions had already been created.

The answers are already out there waiting for me to ask someone.

They weren't hidden in some old book or secret buried tome waiting for me to dig up and discover.

The answer was in the MENTORS that I have since engaged to accelerate my progress.

And what an acceleration I received from ASKING.

More speed in five years than in two decades.

Each year, FASTER RESULTS and with FAR LESS effort.

I see the same results happening with my clients.

Accelerated progress. Each success compounds another.

The answer to my own four-minute mile was in the relationships with mentors and their communities.

It freed me from being stuck INSIDE my business.

These mentors have supported me to soar above my business and look down on it from the 30,000-foot view and see business differently.

Not only can I see the bottlenecks and the simple steps to remove them.

But I see a different level of output and execution.

I NOW know what GOOD WORK looks like.

Seeing colleagues taking steps that I realise I can now take.

Applying steps that now work for me AND my clients.

And it’s NOT difficult, just DIFFERENT.

A different type of work.

Back when I tried to do it ALL myself, I thought the answer was HARD work.

That just made WORK HARD.

I now see the simple, yet different ways of working.

Not HARDER...just different.

So now, when I feel a roadblock, or when I feel momentum slowing.

I know it’s time to reach out and engage my mentors to help move the block.

It’s just the way I operate now.

Their support gives leverage to the heavy lifting I need to FOCUS on to evolve.
