Hard Work & Dedication

I cannot believe that this journey is coming to fruition, a journey that was started back in 2001 & 2002 after graduating from officer candidate school for the U.S Army. Soon after graduation, I was recruited for the Second Gulf War by the agency and soon after my return, I decided to retire from the military. Which lead to an entirely different journey of running a martial arts school, becoming a Dallas police officer, and the last 9 years in the physical security industry. Although that was fulfilling I felt a call almost two years ago, to finish my degree, and not just finish my degree change my entire degree program from criminal justice to a B.S in Religion with a Cognate in Christian Leadership and a minor in Global Studies.

I am excited to say that I have been initiated into Tau Sigma, Liberty University National Honor Society. With only 4 weeks left in this term and graduation right around the corner this is very exciting, see some old dogs can learn new tricks. Thank you, Lord, for the strength, during full-time work, full-time college, full-time husband and father, and facilitator for my church and Christian podcasts, it is amazing what can be accomplished when you remove excuses. Amen.
