Har Har Mahadev: Mahashivratri

Maha Shiva Ratri celebration is essentially an effort to raise above the body and mind to experience the inner self (bliss). Shiva Ratri observances are threefold: 1) Fasting 2) Keeping vigil over the night and 3) worship of Lord Shiva. Here are the options under these three heads and choose what is convenient for you. Fasting: Fasting starts once you wake up on Maha Shiva Ratri on1st March, 2022 and extends over the night to culminate on the next morning. Therefore the duration of fasting is roughly about 24 hours. Your options: If strict fasting is possible, do not take even water. If you want a milder form take water alone when needed. If you still want to take a relaxed route, then take fruits, milk and water.

Vigil over the night: This is a very important activity whether you choose to fast or not. All night you need to remain awake engaging in meditation, prayer, worship of Shiva, chanting of His Divine names, participating in temple rituals like Holy bath to Shiv Ling, Homa or Pujas. If you cannot visit a Shiva temple, you can give a holy bath to a makeshift Shivling at home offering water, honey, milk, curds, rose water, sacred ash (Vibhuti) and other fragrant materials and decorate with Chandan Kumkum ad flowers. Offer incense sticks and camphor arati. You can divide the night into four equal parts and the sacred bath worship should happen four times repeating on these four segments.

Worship of Shiva Linga: Whatever be the route you take - whether visiting a Shiva temple of worshiping Shiva at home, you need to devote the day and night of this holy day in the thought of Shiva and practising virtues like truth, self-satisfaction, control over the desires and charity as much as possible. I dont know if your presumptions about yourselves are anyway near reality, Now for the sake if it helps and certainly it will if you just put aside your earlier judgement of yourself and ego and just introspect you actually do not know yourselves almost at all ,you know that your thoughts your beliefs or non belief are changing

But they are not firm and that is the way it should be and what people generally know about themselves is thoughts generated by ego of me for various small or big but desires and this is not wrong or right but kind of innate now a days, but this drifts you away from reality that you actually do not know yourself whatever transitory views you have change dramatically due to various seemingly making sense types of reasons ,so to see the reality on needs to accept this truth and do not judge yourself or put your self in category this is also a psychological dependence, atheists and bielivers are same people for both don't know the truth and are not firm or sure about there beliefs.

So if I consider you as a seeker the one who wants to know the truth and experience it than only I can commence on telling how one should observe MahaShivaRatri beacuse see when u do certain kind of deeds actions which are said to be to propitiate god as in this case worshipping shiva than what you do is for yourself no body can give anything to shiva it already his own everything and anything already belongs to Shiva so thinking that he requires your services is kiddish, we do this to serve our ownselves for our own positivity good and bliss as Shiva literally means all what is auspicious and beautiful is Shiva swaroop,

In pauranic lore the true history some imbecile ulearned priests of falsehood wrongly term it as mythology but it is history our vedas and purans were history any way in our scriptures it quite evident that all gods or asuras or rishis or demons they all worshipped Shiva unequivocally always ,all Avtars be it Rama Krishna Shakracharya etc all have worshipped Shiva and established Shivas temples in there name to declare there total and complete one pointed devotion to Shiva .There is not a single god or rishis or great men in our pauranic history who has not worshipped Shiva,.

The reason is simple Shiva is that one final God, an entity, The existence whatever is the root cause of whole creation is What Shiva is and that is why he is worshipped in avyakta form of the formless form of god which points towards the final energy who has nothing above who is one and root cause and affect of whatever that exists, The Shiva Linga is map of universe scientists also observed that the shape of observable universe up to the point of space time curve is oval shaped ,the yogis have seen the that prana the atman as exactly jyotir roop Shiva Linga all enlightened men and zen masters have experienced same phenomenon no matter if they believed in some god or not but adopt a meditative spiritual way like buddhism or its offspring zen etc,

Shiva is scientific he doesnt belong to the flock of thiests who just can believe being carried away in emotion of need of metaphysical like christianity, .Shiva is reality and he is not a person he is beyond any approach of mind heart or soul its impossible to decipher him or know him but one only can experience the bliss of Shiva Tattva by his grace only. This Shivalinga energy vortex is symbol of universes powerful root energy the cause of all and end of all having no end of itself that is why it is said worshipping Shiva would satiate all gods and planets and rishis all divine beings reside in shiva linga by worshipping shivalinga.

The whole universe is propitiated hence becomes favourable for but true Shiva devotee. its not a good thing that one worships shiva it is a must thing for all who want any kind of positivity in there lives, everything auspicious is him there is no way out that is also one of the many reasons why he is wprshiped by even opposite entities with same fervour be it ausras or devas manushays or yaskhas all beings worship him but for there own good again Shiva does not need anything but yet he is so benevolent and compassionate that he accepts simple grass bilva leafs some good water fruits wuetver little or more his devotees offer him he is ultra benevolent all compassioon of whole world even universe is collected would be a drop in the ocean of shivas comapssion the reason for all love and compassion is Shiva ,when true compassion arises in you know that it is Shiva.

So he accepts worships of his devotees and fulfills there mundane or spiritual wishes unlimitedly that is what he is unfamous for too ,he gives anything everything if he becomes happy with bhakta there is no good or bad for him he is beyond that is how he easily gave bhasamsur his wish also, did impossible amendments in karma law to enhance life of marakandeya made him deathless Yama warns his sergeants never even look at shivas devotees why not for his devotess he incinerated the time and death both once. He is terrible protector no one can have even a bad thought about his devotee and go unpunished impossible. Now what i am talking about is First Form of formless God when Avyakta Parbramha takes manifestation as MahaRudra the Sadashiva.

And the only reason why he takes form is because of his compassion towards beings to release them from bondage of opposites and misery and send them to eternal bliss there original self who is fragment of Shiva .Shiva is primordial master of all gods and rishis he gave vedas to bramha and appointed vishnu to protect the vedic dharma ,all scriptures art science emeged from vibration pof shivas damru and this is not allegory this is fact scientists know everthuing emerged from vibration of certain sound what vedas know as Om, and this eternal sound emerges from damru of Shiva . This is not allegory of emotional description but only intelligent people and those who have scinetific knowhow and bent of mind can undertsand this.

So worshipping Shiva is for your own good ,now shastra says that if some one has slight desire to know about shiva or has desire to worship him it is because millions of his good deeds punya karmas have given fruits, and by worshipping shiva with devotion one earns thousand time for punyas and his karam balances are reduced ,even psychically in shiva worship one feels lighter calmer happier more alive blissful as per devotion for sure but still one feels positive ,the greater the devotion and trust greater the experience.

Maharashtra is the most auspicious vrata day among all other pious days and festivals all humans must worship Shiva this day as per there level and capability. At least have good bath in the morning wear clean preferably white clothes have clean vessel of copper preferably and fill it with clean water and worship Shiva Linga in temple offer Jal, akshat raw uncooked whole rice,flowers , bel patra some sweets or fruits ,light diya and dhoop ,chant Shiva mantra as much as you can read shiva chalisa or his various stotras. and same do at the night also in your home too if you have shiva established or go to temple in evening or night and do the same .now that is at least one shall do if he doesn't do anything ever.

Now for those who are Shiva Devotees or have liking or bhakti for shiva and those who know the great bliss of Shiva worships. They shall also do the same going to temple offering jal bilva dhoop deep etc but they shall worship him in night for sure chant rudra Sookta or arrange for rudrabhishekam ,read his various stotras like tandav stotra mahimna ved saar shiva stava, shiva sahstranaam and there are millions of shiva stotras and Sookta veda and purans are full of them and they are very powerful give tremendous positive results . Specially the Rudra Sukta and Rudrashtadhyayi of Yajurveda on this day and night every worship Stotra mantra of Shiva gives trillions of trillions times more punya like in Pradosha Muhurta.

For those having Shiva linga in home shall worship him in the morning and in evening and specially at night the energies this time are very powerful for spiritual upliftment yogis achiever higher an higher states during this night worshipping Shiva continuously .spend more and more time in Shiva worship specially in the night worship him read his stotras sooktas discuss about him sing or listen to bis bhajan i always prefer Sanskrit stotras there are thousand available online ,tandav mahimna rudra sookta whole rudri all are available online for free even at few sites.

If one is super sinner but honest true shiva devotee nothing bad can ever happen to him ever as said Shiva is very benevolent protector and terrible for those who are anti his bhaktas yes he is partial .those who came to him are invincible and they became Gyani and god hearted no bad happens through them. anyways if some one has question feel free to ask this is all I shall today ignore spelling mistakes and other one s go for the concept and content not shine and linguistic gymnastics but truth which can really make a difference if you can understand necessity bliss and greatness of Shiva which is actually a deep profound vigyan a metascience ,quantum scientists and devotees both know it as per there ability only fools and sinners can ignore it otherwise this is for goodness and positivity of all beings ,worshipping shiva is for your own positivity and good if you love yourself want your good than it is impossible that you do not worship shiva after knowing his greatness and science even a little bit.
