Happy With Your Website?

Happy With Your Website?

How's Your Website Performing?

  • Is it mobile?
  • Can you do what you want with it? Add text and images, update stuff?
  • Can you easily make a unique page for a campaign? Landing pages are the new standard
  • How’s it doing in search?

Modern websites are meant to be user friendly and easily updated by non-tech people. How does yours stack up?

Mobile

2 main reasons why a mobile friendly website is a must-have:

  1. More and more people are using mobiles to view websites and that percentage is growing fast. If you site isn’t mobile, they’ll go elsewhere
  2. Google announced in 2015 that they will show search results for mobile friendly sites ahead of those that aren’t. Plus it looks like Google will stop showing non-mobile websites in mobile search results.

Mobile friendly is no longer an option. To be competitive, your site must be mobile.

Easily Updated

The days of having to pay a developer to update stuff on your site are over. Modern websites are designed to be easily used by non-tech people so that they can change the wording, add photos, add new pages.

Landing Pages for Campaigns

It’s no longer ok to run an online ad and to just send people to your home page. These days, to be effective, your campaign needs a unique landing page that’s consistent with the ad that people just clicked – the same look and design and the same message. The page must give people exactly what you promised.

Search

Many of the basic elements of search aren’t difficult or expensive. But many websites are not well optimised for search.

Question: Take an important page on your website. On that page, do all the elements tell the same story?

  • Researched keywords. It all begins with some simple keyword research. Are your important keywords researched? Does this page use the most important and most searched keywords?
  • Does the content on this page tell the story of what this page is about? Does the content use the most important keywords?
  • Have your tags been optimised? Headers. Page titles. Meta descriptions. ALT attributes for images. Sounds tech but it isn’t complex
  • How does your site perform vs your competitors in popularity, traffic and search? What are your competitors doing better online? Are you being beaten in searches for important keywords?

Time for a makeover or a new website?

Talk to us for a rundown on what you can expect to pay for a mobile friendly, search optimised website. We’ll email you a document that prices all these elements. Entry level mobile websites and even online shops cost less than most people think, oftentimes less than the cost of an ad.
