HAPPY YOGA n MUSIC DAY...!!

Happy Yoga & Music Day ..!!

When I lost voice with polio, later regained after 8 months, it was my mother and grandmother who pushed me into Music..!!

When I was struggling with studies, surgical pain and wanted nto give up music, it was my Pinni n Baba who literally supposed me pursue ( my Baba still has my songs in his phone and listened in his last moments and scolded that I am not practicing enough) 

When I am in deep pain post scoliosis surgery and breath and other complications of dead slow recovery, it was my sister who brought my first yoga guru Sri Gangadhar garu and literally after me to try Yoga..!! 

When there's 3 inches gap between the shoulder posture and unable to sit properly, Gangadhar Guruji tried innumerable combinations of Yoga asanas till he made sure I can do some, we didn't know it's called Adaptive Yoga then. But we tried it all. 

When everyone in town refused to teach me Yoga, after seeing my X-rays , it was Anand who joined Yoga and did masters in his 40s and spend countless hours in researching my food, Adaptive Yoga, alternative systems of healing. Thank you is small word for his relentless efforts. One sentence that stand testimony of his passion for rehabilitation not just me but everyone who sought his help.. came from my therapist in USA.. when asked him.. what's GAIT and how I achieve balance with this body... He simply answered " YOU HAVE ANAND AND YOGA ON YOUR SIDE..I AM SURE YOU WILL DO DESPITE SEVERITY OF YOU POLIO N SPINAL SCOLIOSIS..!! 

So, here I am, with my first ever video on MY LIFE n MY YOGA…though done for a contest... I felt like sharing with you, ON THIS IMPORTANT MUSIC & YOGA DAY... without those elements my life would have been incomplete and directionless...!!
