???? Happy World Password Day 2024! ????

Not just another day; it's World Password Day! Let’s use this opportunity to rethink our approach to passwords. Are they truly protecting us, or have they become a vulnerable point in our digital armor? ???

This year, let's challenge the norm by upgrading our cybersecurity habits. Instead of relying solely on complex passwords, here are some recommendations to bolster your digital security:

  1. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - Add an extra layer of security beyond just a password.
  2. Use a Password Manager - Keep your passwords secure, unique, and easily manageable.
  3. Adopt Biometric Security - Where possible, use fingerprint or facial recognition for enhanced security.
  4. Educate Yourself and Others - Stay informed about phishing and other common cyber threats.

Today, let's not just reset our passwords but revolutionize our entire approach to personal and professional cybersecurity. What steps are you taking to ensure your digital safety? Let's discuss and drive the change towards more robust security practices!

Great post Daniel Brunner, MBA, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT. Password manager would be my number 1 recommendation. Especially for personal accounts where the temptation is to reuse one weak password for every SaaS application we have ever used.
