Happy Women's Day
Happy International Women's Day! Today, we celebrate the achievements and contributions of women around the world. One area where women have made significant strides in recent years is technology. In this blog post, we will highlight some of the incredible women who are making their mark in the tech industry.
First, we have Reshma Saujani, the founder of Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. Saujani has been recognized as one of Fortune's 40 Under 40 and has given a TED Talk on the importance of teaching girls to code. Through Girls Who Code, Saujani has helped thousands of girls across the country gain the skills and confidence they need to pursue careers in tech.
Another trailblazer in tech is Dr. Fei-Fei Li, the co-director of Stanford University's Artificial Intelligence Lab. Dr. Li is a leading researcher in computer vision and has been recognized as one of the world's most influential people in AI. She is also the founder of AI4ALL, a nonprofit organization that aims to increase diversity and inclusion in the field of AI.
We also have Emily Chang, a journalist and author who has been covering the tech industry for over a decade. Chang is the host of Bloomberg Technology and has written a book called Brotopia, which explores the sexist culture of Silicon Valley. Through her work, Chang has helped shine a light on the gender disparities that still exist in tech and has been a vocal advocate for change.
