Happy Weekend - Rambling Thoughts

Have a great weekend. I appreciate that you are one of over 4,000 subscribers to my newsletter. It's an honor to have you as a reader.

This week's Venture Starters Life Sciences event already has 429 registered to attend the live event on Wednesday. My guess is that less than 50% of those who registered will attend. This happens weekly. Some weeks we get over 700 who register but less than half who attend live.

What I am curious about is if you take the time to register or have selected to be pre-registered to all the live zoom events, what can I do better to get you to attend? If you have any suggestions, please email me at [email protected].

My wife Norma and I make these events free and maybe the cost to not attend is a factor. We don't want to change. We want the events to be free to pitch and free to attend. But we also would like you all to attend if you register.

We are considering adding a Lecture Series. These would be on Monday nights. If any of you have a prepared lecture that you would like to present to the Venture Starters community, please email me.

I had lunch yesterday with a super interesting person visiting Los Angeles and I asked him "What are you great at?" I have asked that question to at least 100 people in the past 3 years. The answers have fascinated me. If you have time this weekend, maybe think about how you would answer the question "What are you great at?" It's not easy to answer without some thought.
