Today the I in me, completed 50 months being professional.
I woke up at 5 AM today and felt the same way I felt when I woke up on the day I started my career in 2015. I told myself that as long as I feel that way, I should continue doing what I am doing. I also told myself that the way I feel is in my hands and not outsourced to someone else in this world. I created this experience I have. The decisions I made in hard times and the intellect I built after making poor decisions is what put me here.
I have 100% satisfaction in my career as of today.
I have traded a lot of hours to gain this career satisfaction.
Is it worth it?
Absolutely.
There are a few times where I felt depressed without money. Especially when I couldn't pay my needs or wants. It only told me - I had to do better. I am doing better now.
The support my parents, my brothers, my relatives, my friends, my Gurus, my mentors, the community and the teams that have worked with me have been the reason why I got here.
What matters is not the age but the way we age.
What matters is not money but the value we create to get the money.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.
Appreciation can change a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary. Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.
Thanksgiving reminds us that no matter what befalls us in life, we can take the charred remnants and we can reconstruct a life unimaginably richer than that from which the shards and pieces fell.
A big Thanks to everyone who has helped me by any means.
Happy Thanksgiving!
