Happy Thanksgiving
Happy belated Thanksgiving! I’m not all that confused, I just like the concept of saying thank you ??. Be it the last Thursday in November or on any moment in the year. As we near the end of 2022, it is a great moment to say thanks. So here it is, a huge thank you ??to our colleagues around the world at Top Employers Institute . Time to celebrate your accomplishments??!??
?
Thank you, to our HR team ??. While navigating the latest global crises, you introduced meaningful #HR policies that strengthen our company as an employer. Volunteering-Time-Off was co-developed with our #CSR Team and enabled our people to further deepen our purpose, even beyond the world of work. The Human-centric way of working that was introduced in 2021 truly came alive this year and is appreciated by all of us (99% to be precise ??). Thank you for bringing nearly 70 new, talented people within our company. An eclectic mix of individuals, both freelance as well as permanent hires. And congrats to all for lifting our engagement score with more than 10% , what a great step by and for all of us.?
?
Thank you, to our Sales, Sales Enablement and Client Success teams ??. You stepped up in a challenging business climate and realized our ambition for this year with almost scary precision! Meanwhile the foundations for our expansion in APAC and the US were laid down, which we can build on in 2023. Our Client Success team gained traction this year with an instrumental role in increasing our customer retention rate ever higher. Rates that we can accurately measure through the efforts of our Sales Enablement team, thanks!?
?
Thank you, to our Marketing team??. You created yet again a next level virtual Certification Celebration event to kick-off the year. Followed by a range of unforgettable and impactful events, most notably the Best Practices Week in June and the Top Employers Day in September. You can be proud on the content that was co-created with colleagues around the company and beyond. And we’re almost ready again for a range of new celebrations for the Top Employers cycle 2023…?
?
Thank you to our Product & Technology team ???. You all got together for the most part newly this year and have left an imprint already. The launch of our new online Best Practice Database, the introduction of the Preliminary Results Dashboard, and the development of our new Early Certification option are just a few of the most significant achievements. All this to get the value that we bring to our customers faster. And thank you for the continued developments on our Top Employers Portal and the creation of next year’s version of the Top Employers Certification Standard and Survey. The world around us is revolving faster and faster,?thanks to you we can keep up with that speed.?

Thank you, to our Finance team ??. This year marked many ‘firsts’ for us. The first time we reported our financial results under the IFRS standards. The first time we were audited by PwC. The creation of new functions and roles, especially the corporate legal function and the focused controllers function. Beyond that we expanded the Invoicing & Collection function, in line with our growing business and footprint. Thanks to you we elevated our game, met all reporting deadlines and ran a dependable budgeting and forecasting process.?

Thanks you, to our Certification team ??. You delivered the activity most central to our existence: the actual certification process. With a growing group of HR auditors, Global Program Managers and a dedicated Operations team, you all together assessed and audited over 2,000 companies in 2023. The highest number to date. And with the same diligence and objectivity that our customers have been relying on for years. You did so in a professional way, one that fits the rigor of our Certification Program.??

And finaly, thanks to our more than 2,000 Top Employers. You have continued to put your trust in us and our methodology. We aim to repay that trust through our objectiveness, dedication and our commitment to a better world of work. Onwards and upwards we go together.
