Happy Teachers Day !

Gooooood Morninggggg, Teachers !

(You were singing, weren’t you? )

As I walk past the school corridors, echoes of students reciting the Hindi anuvad of a poem in perfect synchronization fill the air. Since the beginning, we have been surrounded by teachers in various forms. Our parents were our first teachers, followed by 14 years of guidance from our school teachers. Then came our college professors, who helped us learn how to navigate a world where we no longer had the warmth of school, preparing us for the challenges ahead. And now, as we sit in our cubicles, staring at our laptops, we can’t help but wonder:

Can we go back in time and relive our school days again?

Can we return to those English classes where "The Road Not Taken" was the one poem we all used to justify our decisions? Can we go back to our math classes, where our teachers tirelessly helped us memorize “Pandit Badri Prasad Har Har Bole Sona Chandi Tole” to master trigonometric ratios? I'm sure our P.E. teachers had inspiring examples to motivate us to run that extra mile: “Neeraj Chopra banna hai tumhe!” And just once, they wouldn’t give up their period to our Hindi teachers, even if asked. I bet if we requested our geography teachers to teach us topography maps one last time, they would happily oblige.

Our teachers, regardless of how and when they entered our lives, have been the foundation of who we are today, shaping us into better students and individuals. Even if we were only physically present in some of their lectures while mentally daydreaming out the window, I’m sure that if we walked into their classes today, they would welcome us with the same love and adoration.

Today, on this Teachers’ Day, we at Seth M. R. Jaipuria Schools extends our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all our teachers for becoming a part of us and helping us grow as a community. Every Jaipurian is deeply grateful for the teachers who always ensured that each student received the best education and care under their guidance.
